I've only just found this site while looking for info on my newly acquired Modeltech P-51. Fantasatic Site, I've added it to my favourites already, and I'm going to be here until I've read everything, and absorbed as much info as I can. Thanks for putting this site together.

Nice Web Page. Looking for information on Hyde type engine mounts. All of them seem to be very costly. I guess I will pass on using them. Cheers, Chip

For years all I wanted was to fly helicopters, Two years ago my family clubed together to get me a Raptor 30 and the complete kit, everything I could possibly neeed to fly this helicopter. Six weeks and the Raptor was ready to fly, an experienced flyer / instructor took me through the beginners paces then handed be the the radio control for my first lift off. I had the heli hovering for some minutes then forward flight a few hundred metres, hover, turn left, turn right, return to take off spot & land.....GREAT. the tension was off the scale but the sense of achievment was fantastic. (and my arms were aching). So on the next flight my instructor fitted a neck tie to the radio. This time he said I'd be good enought to take it up to 15 foot and hover which I did after a minute or so the heli began to twich 'here let me take the radio' he said, but the neck tie was too short to allow any movment and..........too late it landed tail first. I brought the Raptor home the damage was surprisingly light cost about £40.00. I have never flowen it since. I also bought another heli (during the build of the Raptor) and what a great looking piece of kit this is but it has never left my work shop, it has full retrac's etc etc, it was an professional flyers exhibition helicoptor and was enough to make most flyers drool when it was in the air, so much so that I bought it. Now I want to sell it but I think Grot might have to get involved in this to give me a current guide line in cost. I am absolutely gutted that I cannot make a good flyer of helicopters. I cannot afford any more professional lessons which, sadly I need. Any Offers!!! ( photo's can be supplied online)

Outstanding website. I have only been flying planes for a couple of years. Somehow I have managed to crash more planes than I own. My cousin lived in England for about 10 years and I hear a lot about slope soaring from him. Nothing like that here in the desolate plains of Texas. My main interest is to continue to learn 3D flight. My current planes are Flip 3D and Funtana 90. If anyone has a reference to a good instructional book, please let me know. Thanks

Dear Sir I am the proud owner of an original Cambria Pioneer model aircraft as shown on your site. Contary to the mention of yours being possibly the only one left. Great flyer and has been for many years. Got the plane when 12 and im 38 now. Its seen some bumps and restoration but flies like a dream Ian Thomas

I have always been interested in aircraft and have recently become interested again in the physics of flight. I had the idea of perhaps trying some model flying as a way of informally experimenting and getting a feel for it. I remembered what a bind gluing balsa splinters back together used to be (when I was a lot younger), after a friend's model used to make even a slightly heavy landing. Then I read about this EPP stuff on your site and it suddenly looks much more realistic, especially since there seem to be very capable models available at very little cost. I hope the advantages of modern materials encourage more people to think about having a go - how things have changed!
